The Road Home provides support and shelter for overcoming homelessness. They have a wide variety of programs that provide services to people. The Road Home operates out of The Salt Lake Community Shelter, the largest homeless shelter in Utah.

The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake serves the homeless, helpless, and downtrodden in Salt Lake and southern Davis Counties of Utah. Our services are mostly geared toward assisting adult male guests. However, some services are available to women and children, such as breakfast, dinner, and our nightly Chapel Service. (Rescue Haven is our facility for single women and women with children.)

Homeless Youth Resource CenterExit disclaimer graphic


H.O.M.E. Youth and Resource Center is a combined day shelter and drop-in center for non-adjudicated homeless and at-high-risk youth. They provide food (lunch, dinner, and snacks), showers, laundry facilities, clothing, hygiene items, phone, individual assistance, GED programs (in conjunction with The Downtown Learning Center), a place to hang out, computers, TV, support groups, ESL, Lifeskills groups, young women support group and help with employment & Job Search.
